Mural Concept

This mural concept is apart of Branson’s pockets of patriotism campaign for America’s 250th birthday. The pockets of patriotism campaign aims to revitalize areas of Branson while sharing what Branson is all about, being the ultimate American getaway. In the mural I highlighted Branson’s main tourism draws: sports, shopping, shows, outdoors, and attractions. The background is a topography map of Table Rock Lake, a major pull for tourism. A music staff connects all the different parts of Branson because Branson was recently named the live music capital of Missouri by the governor. I wanted the colors to feel patriotic but also not to feel out of place after America’s 250th was over as this would be a permanent piece.
